We know that people in economically depressed communities are busy trying to pay bills and keep food on the table. And we know that they have families whom they love and want the best for. Teachers and administrators are busy trying to care for large groups of young people while understanding individual behavior in the institutional environment. These challenges bring tremendous emotional stress. When stressful situations happen, many people feel alone in their struggles.
Through TEA Group conversations, people start to connect their experiences with each other and find support within their own communities.
Together, all members of a community can revitalize home, schools and neighborhoods to be supportive, thriving, and healing spaces.
